Our Mission

A Community Built on the Love of Flight

EAA Chapter 283 is home to aviators, aircraft builders, restorers, and enthusiasts of all experience levels. Based at Cherry Ridge Airport (N30) in the heart of the Pocono Mountains, we share knowledge, inspire new pilots, and strengthen our aviation community through hands-on learning and mentorship.

CHERRY RIDGE · N30

Young Eagles Program

Through the EAA's Young Eagles program, we provide free introductory flights to youth ages 8–17. These flights spark a lifelong passion for aviation and inspire the next generation of pilots, engineers, and aerospace professionals. No experience needed — just curiosity and a love of adventure.
